— About Paint Protection Film
The Ultimate Defense for Your Vehicle's Finish
New Jersey roads are tough on your vehicle. From rock chips on the Parkway to road salt in the winter and bug acids in the summer, your paint is under constant assault. A simple car wash can’t prevent the physical damage that permanently degrades your vehicle’s appearance and resale value.
That’s where Paint Protection Film comes in. We exclusively use STEK DYNOshield — a premium, optically clear film that acts as a sacrificial layer, absorbing impacts and self-healing from minor scratches to keep your factory paint in pristine condition. It’s the single best investment you can make to protect your car.
We don’t just apply film — we provide invisible armor for your peace of mind, backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
— Why Install Paint protection film
The Invisible Armor: Real-World Benefits of Paint protection film
Rock Chip Prevention
Absorbs the impact from stones and road debris that would otherwise permanently chip and pit your factory paint.
Self-Healing
Fine scratches and swirl marks disappear on their own with exposure to heat from the sun or warm water. The film literally heals itself.
Stain Resistance
The hydrophobic top coat repels water, oil, bird droppings, and bug splatter — contaminants that etch and stain unprotected paint.
Enhanced Gloss
Optically clear and non-yellowing, DYNOshield enhances your paint's depth and gloss — making it look better than the day it left the factory.
Preserve Resale Value
A vehicle with flawless, original factory paint commands significantly more at trade-in or private sale than one with typical road wear.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a thick, optically clear thermoplastic urethane film applied directly to your vehicle's painted surfaces. It acts as a sacrificial barrier between your paint and the outside world — absorbing rock chips, scratches, bug acids, road salt, and UV rays so your factory paint doesn't have to. STEK DYNOshield, the film we install, also features self-healing technology that causes minor scratches to disappear on their own with heat exposure.
STEK DYNOshield carries a 10-year manufacturer's warranty against yellowing, bubbling, cracking, and staining. With proper care and maintenance, the film will often perform well beyond that timeframe. The longevity of PPF depends on how the vehicle is maintained — regular washing, avoiding harsh chemicals, and keeping the film clean all extend its life significantly.
No. When installed correctly, STEK DYNOshield is virtually invisible. It has a high-gloss, optically clear finish that actually enhances your paint's depth and shine rather than dulling it. Most people genuinely cannot tell the film is there — which is the whole point. There is also a matte finish version available if you want to give your vehicle a satin look.
Yes. Professional removal using a heat gun or steamer softens the adhesive, allowing the film to peel away cleanly without any damage to the factory paint underneath. This is one of PPF's major advantages over a respray — it's fully reversible. We strongly recommend having PPF removed by a professional rather than attempting it yourself to avoid any risk of paint damage.
The Partial Front End package covers the front bumper, headlights, fog lights, side mirrors, and approximately 18–24 inches of the hood and fenders — the highest-impact zones. The Full Front End package extends that coverage to the complete hood and full fenders, eliminating any visible film edge and providing seamless, edge-to-edge protection across the entire front of the vehicle. For most customers, the Full Front End is the better long-term value.
Installation time depends on the package. A Partial Front End typically takes one full day. A Full Front End or Track Package takes one to two days. A Full Vehicle wrap can take two to three days depending on the make and model. We never rush an installation — proper prep, precise cutting, and careful application take time, and that time is what separates a flawless result from a mediocre one.
You need to wait 3–5 days after installation before washing to allow the film's adhesive to fully cure. After that, regular washing is completely fine. Use a pH-neutral car wash soap, avoid high-pressure washing directly at film edges, and stay away from abrasive polishes or compounds on the film surface. You can also apply a ceramic coating on top of the PPF for enhanced hydrophobic performance and easier maintenance.
Yes — and this is one of its most underrated benefits. The self-healing topcoat on STEK DYNOshield causes light scratches and swirl marks to disappear with heat exposure from the sun or a warm water rinse. This means your protected panels stay looking freshly detailed even with regular use and washing, which is nearly impossible to achieve on unprotected paint over time.
They serve different purposes and work best together. PPF provides physical protection — it stops rock chips, scratches, and abrasion. Ceramic coating provides chemical protection — it repels water, contaminants, and UV rays while making the surface easier to clean. The ideal combination is PPF on the high-impact areas with a ceramic coating applied on top of the film. This gives you the best of both worlds: impact resistance and chemical resistance in a single, low-maintenance package.
For most vehicle owners, yes — especially if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years or sell it at a premium. The cost of PPF is a fraction of what it costs to repaint a single panel. A full front-end respray on a luxury or exotic vehicle can easily run $2,000–$5,000 or more. PPF prevents that damage entirely. It also significantly increases your vehicle's resale value by preserving the original factory paint, which buyers and dealers pay a premium for.
